New York City-based 24/7 Media Inc. signed a multi-year exclusive ad rep agreement with search engine GoTo.com, which will join The 24/7 Network in its Search/Directory channel.
The GoTo.com site will initially deliver in excess of 50 million page views monthly to The 24/7 Network, and will significantly expand the network’s offering of search keywords, the company said.
“GoTo.com is a strategic addition to The 24/7 Network because it brings high- volume targeted advertising opportunities via its keyword search capabilities,” said David J. Moore, CEO of 24/7 Media. “We are very excited to anchor our current Search/Directory channel with GoTo.com’s fast-growing inventory, offering advertisers the most compelling active-search packages.”
Web sites on GoTo.com bid for placement within search results using a free- market auction process and pay only for delivered traffic. The move “. . .enhances our penetration of top advertisers,” said Jeffrey Brewer, president and CEO of Pasadena, CA-based GoTo.com. “We’re also pleased to be 24/7’s first and only search engine, dramatically enhancing the network’s ability to provide keyword targeted banner inventory to its advertisers while enabling us to benefit from 24/7’s proven ability to optimize online advertising revenue.”
