The Drum’s Mobile Top 50 has been revealed, with Somo co-founder and COO Carl Uminski topping getting the coveted number 1 spot.
The survey looked to recognise the top influencers and contributors to mobile marketing in the UK, and was compiled out of a shortlist of 100.
Founder of Somo, a full service mobile marketing company in the world in 2009, alongside Nick Hynes, Uminski has already expanded the independent London across the world to San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Singapore and Berlin.
Second place went to Ilicco Elia, head of mobile at LBi, third to Ben Scott-Robinson, freelance creative director for SapientNitro, fourth to Ian Carrington, Google’s director of mobile EMEA and finally David Sear, CEO of Weve, took fifth place.
Mobile marketing is becoming more and more prevalent, as brands look to ensure they are mobile ready as the burgeoning smartphone market continues to grow.
