Twitter's Redesigned Web Profiles Are Here and Ready to Go

Earlier this month, ClickZ reported that Twitter would be redesigning its profile pages. Low and behold, just two weeks later, here they are.

While the redesign is technically still in its “rolling out” stages, those eager beavers who want to get the new look can do so now by visiting this link.

The new Web profiles make it “even easier to be yourself,” says Twitter in a blog post.

Features of the redesigned Web profiles include a “best tweets” section, highlighting popular tweets or those that garner the most engagement; a “pinned tweet” section, enabling users to pin a tweet to the top of his or her page “so it’s easy for your followers to see what you’re all about”; and a “filtered tweet” section, which gives users the ability to decide how they want to view other Twitter follower’s profiles.

The Web profile also includes larger profile photos and “more immersive” headers, which appear similar to Facebook cover photos. Twitter says any images are “automatically resized to fit perfectly” and provides a gallery of options on Flickr.
