Carat Fusion hires Rob Hollander as SVP of content strategy; Monster hires Blackwood as CMO.

Carat Fusion hired Rob Hollander as senior vice president, content strategy. The digital marketing agency created the new executive-level position to oversee a range of content and marketing strategies for clients. Hollander was previously a senior partner/worldwide group creative director for Ogilvy & Mather.

Monster hired Joan Blackwood as chief marketing officer for North America. The online careers and recruitment resource and flagship brand of Monster Worldwide hired Blackwood away from CA, formerly Computer Associates, where he was senior VP of worldwide marketing.

Responsys appointed Ed Henrich vice president of strategic services. The provider of on-demand e-mail and marketing automation solutions tasked Henrich with the integration of the recently acquired Loyalty Matrix technology and team. Henrich was formerly president of Yesmail.

Bebo appointed Angel Gambino as vice president, music. The U.K.-based social networking site created the position for Gambino.

NetShelter hired Ann Jesse as sales manager for its West and Central Territories. The tech-centric vertical ad network created the position for Jesse, who comes from CMP Technology, where she had been national sales director of emerging accounts and markets, electronics group.

Eyeblaster appointed Carol Paruch as sales manager of its Detroit office. The integrated digital marketing services and technology firm hired Paruch from her position as account director, advertising and business development East for Kelley Blue Book.

Xylem Interactive and Creation Chamber merged to form Xylem CCI. The new agency will focus on the planning, design and development of large-scale Web sites, Flash microsites and online marketing technology strategies.

Kaboose named Michael Fogarty as chief revenue officer. The family-focused online media company hired Fogarty away from his position as vice president of AOL Media Networks.

Ingenio appointed Greg Santora to its board of directors. Santora joins fellow outside directors Robert Grady, managing director of Carlyle Group, and Kevin Harvey, general partner of Benchmark Capital.
