New Youth Site Taps L90 for Advertising

Internet advertising company L90 Inc. announced Tuesday that it will represent Thirsty.com, a recently launched site targeting youths ages 13 to 22.
Under the agreement, Thirsty.com , which debuted this month, will use L90 exclusively for its advertising representation and will use L90s “adMonitor” technology to serve and track its ad inventory. Thirsty.com also plans to run ads promoting the new site on L90s advertising network, which includes channels targeting youth.
“Thirsty.com is poised to become a premier resource for online youth audiences and we look forward to helping them maximize their online advertising inventory,” said John Bohan, chief executive officer L90 Inc. “We are also pleased that they have chosen to promote their launch through advertising on the L90 network,” he said.
Founded by entertainment industry veterans Jeff Pollack and Benny Medina, Thirsty.com features content segmented into 13 youth-specific lifestyle channels, such as Comics/SciFi, Hip Hop, and Rave/Techno. The site’s mission is to give youths an online experience that complements their offline lifestyle.
“We are very pleased to be working with L90 to develop Thirsty’s online and offline presence because they are a well established leader in our industry and have demonstrated success in reaching the youth market,” said Jeff Pollack, co-chairman and CEO of Thirsty.com.
