SF Interactive CFO picks up an additional executive post; BellSouth IntelliVentures relaunches its RealPages.com.

Bay area agency SF Interactive has given its chief financial officer, Gregory Richey, the added post of chief operating officer. As part of a broad restructuring of the business, Richey has also been named to the interactive shop’s board of directors.

“Greg has been instrumental in seeing SF Interactive through a very difficult period for our industry,” said Bruce Carlisle, chief executive officer and president of SF Interactive. “The fact that we were profitable in the fourth quarter and are still serving our clients today when so many of our former competitors are no longer in business is in large part due to Greg’s tenacity, skill and creativity.”

Richey was hired as CFO in March 2000. Before accepting the role, he had been COO at Paycom Billing Services and also held a post as CFO of The Recovery Network. Commenting on his promotion, Richey said, “Fundamentally, my job is to help translate our talented team’s strengths in interactive media, creativity and technical innovation into a client-centric business model.”

As part of the restructuring announced today, SF Interactive co-founder and former COO, Alejandro Levins has resigned from the board of directors and ceases to have any involvement with the company. With this restructuring, the five-year-old company’s primary ownership group now includes Carlisle, Richey and its principal outside investor, the Private Equity Group of William E. Simon & Sons.

BellSouth IntelliVentures has launched a new site for RealPages.com, its regional online business directory serving the Southwestern U.S. The BellSouth redesign includes new navigation and search functions, as well as a change in the site’s appearance. The enhancements are intended to allow consumers to more quickly search for local products and services.

Enhancements to the site include a new navigation menu designed to help users move between the services that interest them, assist them with shopping and return easily to their search parameters. Additionally, BellSouth has redesigned the search page, which now lets users search for a business by category or by business name, as well as narrow search results to a zip code, town, or nearb listings and email directories.

“Our goal is to be the best destination web site for local purchase transactions,” said Bill Lott, senior marketing manager at BellSouth IntelliVentures. “The new design is in direct response to consumers request for a quick and easy way to find relevant information about products and services.”
