WorldNow taps Revenue Science for behavioral targeting; icrossing adds board members.

WorldNow, which provides technology and ad solutions to local media sites, tapped Revenue Science to provide behavioral targeting to its clients. The companies said Revenue Science’s audience search will let WorldNow analyze billions of behaviors across its affiliates sites and enhance ad targeting.

Search marketing firm icrossing added two board members from RRE Ventures and Generation Partners, which together provided a $13 million round of funding to the firm. The new directors are James Robinson of RRE and John Hawkins of Generation Partners.

Habeas hired John-Francis Sullivan as VP of marketing, a newly created post. Sullivan was director of product marketing with Sendmail, prior to which he led marketing at Webraska Mobile Technologies.

Ripple Effects Interactive built two Flash sites for client Bruster Real Ice Cream. The first is a “virtual visit” Web presence in honor of national ice cream day. The second is a “cake creator” site.

Fathom Online hired Steve Gillan as CFO and Mike Goos as VP of product management. Gillan was CFO with Alibris and held financial positions at Raychem Corporation. Goos joins from AOL, where he worked on search and RSS development.

Jennifer Miller has left her post as VP of corporate communications at DoubleClick. She’ll begin work in August for another company, but didn’t say which.
