Answers.com gets VP of ad sales; Tacoda hires a sales development manager; SpunLogic builds site for Cartoon Network to support recess.
Answers Corporation, which operates Answers.com, hired Robert Formentin as VP of ad sales. He has held senior sales posts with Advertising.com, 24/7 Real Media and Infoseek, among other companies.
Tacoda hired Jennifer Greene as manager of sales development, a newly created post in New York. She joins from Q Interactive, where she was a senior account manager.
Atlanta-based agency Spunlogic launched a microsite to generate awareness for Cartoon Network’s “Rescuing Recess” outreach initiative. CartoonRecessWeek.com encourages schools to support recess and urges local communities to rally around the institution.
MediaWhiz Holdings named Jeff Kuntz, Adam Glantz and Rodney Fetaya to lead fledgling ad network adNet. AdNet gives more transparency than other networks, the company said, since advertisers can buy within a number of “sub-networks” offering premium or remnant inventory, vertical content or custom media plans.
