Philadelphia-based USABancShares' new Internet banking operation, USABanc.com signed with Doubleclick Inc. to begin a nationalonline advertising campaign.

Philadelphia-based USABancShares’ new Internet banking operation, USABanc.com signed with Doubleclick Inc. to begin a national online advertising campaign.

Using the new DoubleClick Select program, banner advertising for USABanc.com will focus on premium site exposure and sponsorship opportunities. Spending was not disclosed.

“Engaging Doubleclick is an important step toward our goal of creating a unique identity. . .which will differentiate our approach to Internet banking, brokerage and content from other efforts” said Daniel Taylor, director of USABancShares’ Electric Banking Division.

USABanc.com said it expects to add full functionality to its site fin the third quarter and added that customers now have immediate access to stock quotes and CD purchases.
