Smithsonian taps Real Magnet; Mark Nathanson launches a business development consultancy for agencies.
Real Magnet, a D.C.-based developer of email marketing products, added the art museums of the Smithsonian Institution to its client list. Museums to use the company’s software include The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, and the African Art Museum — all in Washington, D.C. — and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York.
Agency veteran Mark Nathanson has launched a business development consultancy to help agencies identify and acquire new clients. Nathanson has driven business development efforts for some top agencies, including Rapp Collins Worldwide, OgilvyOne, and U.S. Interactive.
“Instead of helping clients find the right agencies, I apply the same rigorous review process to helping agencies find the right clients,” he said.
Wachovia tapped Kanisa to help power its online customer service. The financial services company will use the Kanisa 5 product suite to power self-service and site navigation on its public Web site.
