Execs & Accounts: Nurun, Stack Media, PointRoll

Nurun creates a new position in its Montreal office; Karen Scott joins Stack Media in digital marketing role; Panache and PointRoll partner.

Nurun named Christian Quenneville VP and director of strategy and account services in Montreal, a new position. He was previously VP and director of digital marketing at Cossette New York, where he worked with brands such as the U.S. Coast Guard, Coca-Cola, and Dairy Farmers of Canada.

Karen Scott joined Stack Media as director of digital marketing and advertising solutions. Stack Media covers Stack Magazine, Stack.com, Stack TV, MySTACK, and Stack Events. Scott was previously at Time Inc, and was previously the sales development director of Southern Progress Corporation, a division of Time.

PointRoll and Panache partnered to offer video advertising services. The partnership will expand distribution and creative possibilities for video advertising and add tools for publishers.

Facebook joined the Advertising Research Foundation.

Demandbase hired two executives. David Lieberman, VP of business development, joined from Yahoo, where he worked in search and display advertising. Earlier he held positions at Dow Jones/Factiva, Thompson Business Information, and Xerox. Susan Chenoweth Scarth, VP of marketing, was most recently VP of marketing at Jigsaw. She previously held executive positions at Taleo and Commerce One.

Jim Ambach left eBay for Jigsaw. Ambach joined the professional social networking site as vice president of product. At eBay Ambach was VP of seller experience, and before that he was group manager and director of commerce product management at AOL.
