TeamToolz delivered version 2.1 of its new Internet based software, TeamTool.MC, designed to enhance brand integration and better manage the work of large marketing departments.

TeamToolz developed TeamTool.MC software initially to help brand managers work with a broad range of marketing communications projects and outside agencies, including advertising, direct mail, collateral, public relations and graphic design.

Proctor & Gamble is one of the first clients to sign on.

In development for over two years, the Web-based TeamToolz software for extranets is set up to mirror existing processes and works to improve communications by allowing internal and external advertising and marketing teams to be more productive and better integrated. The company said it offers real-time project management, knowledge management and communication tools with extensive security.

TeamToolz helps drive brand integration, according to Jim Stratton, director, sales and marketing, TeamToolz.

“The mission of TeamToolz is to make the brand manager’s life easier and to help ensure their brand has one unified voice,” said Stratton. “The Internet is what makes it economically feasible. We’re offering all brand managers a secure place on the Internet where they can view, manage, approve and store marketing and advertising materials, whether broadcast, print or collateral, as they are being developed.”

The software is designed to enhance communication among brand managers and different agencies working on the core messages of the brand.

TeamTool.MC v2.1 has an extended “by department” structure that different agencies, whether they be advertising, public relations, direct marketing, promotion, packaging or trade show, can use to integrate their efforts for consistent communication, the company said.

“By providing clients and agencies with a bird’s eye view, our software ensures that all parties are on the same page at the same time,” said Stratton. “We give them the capabilities to better manage their worldwide brand right down to the font, color and final message. The ultimate goal is ‘one brand, one voice.'”

TeamTool.MC runs from a dual Pentium II processor-based server at TeamToolz headquarters but can also be set-up to run on in-house company servers. Pricing was not disclosed.
