The SEM firm ends several months of searching for a CTO.
Fathom Online has brought aboard Scott Wade, former CTO of the Warner Music Group (WMG), to take on the same role at the search engine marketing (SEM) company. Wade is charged with helping the company with the technological side of analyzing online advertising.
“This is an exciting time to be in search marketing,” said Wade in a statement.
The company hired Wade after conducting a months-long search through recruiters Korn/Ferry International.
Prior to joining Fathom, Wade was CTO and vice president of technology for WMG, then a division of AOL Time Warner. (The company, now called Time Warner, sold off WMG to a group of investors last year.) In his previous role, Wade managed the company’s IT infrastructure across its various IT organizations.
