Atmosphere BBDO hires Jason Lucas as creative director; MySpace recruits another sales guy from Yahoo; Disaboom hires new CEO.
Atmosphere BBDO hired Jason Lucas as creative director with responsibility for FedEx and other accounts. He was previously creative director at Deep Focus and before that was a senior art director at TBWA/Chiat/Day.
MySpace hired Andy Wiedlin as regional VP of West Coast sales, based in San Francisco. A five year Yahoo veteran, he most recently oversaw 20 salespeople as VP of Yahoo’s Northwest sales. MySpace claims he’s the fourth former Yahoo! exec to join MySpace in the past three months.
Disaboom, an online community for those with disabilities, named a new CEO. John Walpuck was promoted from president and CFO. Former chief executive J.W. Roth will remain chairman.
Speaking of new CEOs, digital brand management company CitizenHawk named Dave Duckwitz to its top management post. He was previously GM at ValueClick eCommerce.
MTV Networks will use Clearspring Technologies’ syndication platform to deploy and monetize widgets. Clearspring has also worked with Time Warner, NBC-Universal, and Fox Broadcasting, among other media companies.
PubMatic, a provider of ad network management tools, added two advisory board members. Greg Coleman is CEO of NetSeer and Justin Kuykendall is founder and CEO of Pulpo Media.
