Idearc makes Mueller CEO; Avenue A | Razorfish helps Crystal Light get women pumped up.
Idearc named John Mueller chief executive officer. Mueller is also the chairman of the board, and replaces Kathy Harless, who had served as president and chief executive officer.
The Interactive Advertising Bureau hired Tim Walsh as vice president, event sales. Walsh was previously commercial director/vice president at Incisive Media, the parent company of ClickZ.
On behalf of client Crystal Light, Avenue A | Razorfish has developed a social networking site for women at UPumpItUp.com. The beverage brand has partnered with actress and musical artist Mandy Moore to launch the destination.
K&L Wine Merchants selected StrongMail for its e-mail campaigns. The wine retailer had previously used an e-mail service provider to manage its marketing e-mail, and will now use StrongMail in-house.
JumpTV hired three execs, and promoted one. The broadcaster of sports and international television over the Internet named Blair Baxter chief financial officer; Elmer Sotto, vice president, product and business operations; and Jay Howard, vice president and general counsel. Nada Usina was also promoted to president of JumpTV from president of JumpTV Sports.
LodgeNet hired Derek White as president of The Hotel Networks. A wholly-owned subsidiary of LodgeNet, The Hotel Networks hired White away from Alloy, where he was executive vice president.
SpotXchange opened a New York office. The online video advertising network tasked Vice President Paul Bowlin with managing the office.
