LCS Golf, a provider of newsletters about the sport, signed an agreement to let 24/7 Media Inc.to represent its products to advertisers.
24/7 Media will provide advertisers access to four newsletters under LCS Golf management, including Golf & Travel online, David Leadbetter newsletter, The GolfUniverse.com newsletter and Sports & Leisure online.
The newsletters reach over 1 million subscribers weekly, LCS said. The advertising revenues generated from reaching this affluent target market will exceed $2.1 million in revenues with $1.1 million EBITA, LCS said.
The agreement between the two companies is based upon a revenue share split. 24/7 Media has also agreed to distribute the newsletters, thereby reducing the overhead, leaving LCS Golf with higher profit margins, the company said.
The agreement allows LCS Golf to concentrate on its core strengths — e-marketing, electronic publishing, database management, list services and targeted opt in email campaigns without having to create its own sales staff.
“This agreement shows our commitment to becoming the Internet’s leading electronic provider of products and services to golfers worldwide,” said the company’s Michael Mitchell.
