icrossing hires analyst liason; BlowSearch.com loses CEO and COO.

icrossing hired Noah Elkin as senior analyst relations manager. Elkin will “liaise with the analyst community” and represent the search marketing firm at industry events. He was an analyst with eMarketer, prior to which he consulted with publishers and telcos in the U.S. and Latin America.

AdOrigin Corp./BlowSearch.com has lost its CEO and COO in the wake of a disagreement among the founders about the company’s direction. The two men, Angel Pabon and Richard Kahn, have joined eZanga.com, which was founded by their wives. Both companies are search engine plays.

Flying Point Media launched an online campaign and sweepstakes for anti-wrinkle cream Strivectin-SD. Ads for the giveaway will appear on AOL, MSN and Yahoo, among other sites. It’s the first online branding effort for the product, which has so far used only direct response placements.

Kanoodle hired Douglas Knepper as VP of business development. Knepper has worked for Publishers Clearing House, iVillage, USA Weekend Magazine and Intuit Corporation.
