Dell opens its site to consumer reviews; Agency.com hires two; Burst promotes three; Coupons, Inc. hires former Yahoo exec.

Dell tapped Bazaarvoice to power consumer reviews on its site. Dell has a rough history with consumer-generated feedback and reviews, though efforts have been made to change its image.

Agency.com hired two to its management team. Philippe Guegan joins as strategy director to strengthen the research and measurement capabilities of the agency. Steve Baer was brought in to lead the New York client services team, where he will oversee accounts including British Airways and Choice Hotels International. His title is VP of client services.

Microsoft’s Massive in-game advertising subsidiary lost two founders, including CEO Mitch Davis. President of New Media Nicholas Longano also exited. Davis said he wants to “pursue new interests outside of Massive and Microsoft.” Cory Van Arsdale, who has been at Microsoft for 12 years, will leave his position overseeing business development and partnerships for the MSN and online services group to assume day-to-day operational responsibilities of the unit.

Burst Media promoted three to regional sales manager posts. John Babcock is now Eastern sales manager with oversight of Boston, New York, and Atlanta. Karin Goss will be Midwestern sales manager responsible for Detroit and Chicago. Heather Wetzler is now Western sales manager. Each was previously an account executive.

Lawrence Herman was named VP of sales and business development at MIVA. He was previously CEO of Clickstream Dynamics and managing partner at Common Ground Advisors.

Former Yahoo VP of Sales Jon Schwartz will join Coupons, Inc., where he’ll have the same title. Prior to Yahoo, he was with Clear Channel Communications.

Jason Williscroft joined ProfitRank as VP of operations. His experience includes stints with e-Insure Services, The Service Exchange, and HotQuant.

Freedom Communications tapped David Atkins to be SVP of advertising sales and business development. Atkins previously worked as GM for Interval International, a division of InterActive Corp.

Alex Blum will join KickApps as CEO on February 1. Blum comes from JumpTV, where he was president and COO. Before that he spent eight years at AOL, where he ultimately served as VP of product marketing for AOL’s Audience business.

Online market research firm InsightExpress named Kevin Hill as VP and group director of advertising and media. He was poached from Modem Media.

Elle Décor named Elizabeth Mahoney marketing director. Mahoney previously handled promotional services at Condé Nast Bridal Group, and worked as merchandising director at Architectural Digest.
