Online ad management company AdForce signed an ad distribution contractwith MapQuest.com Inc., the first company tobring mapping and driving directions to the Web.

Online ad management company AdForce signed an ad distribution contract with MapQuest.com Inc., the first company to bring mapping and driving directions to the Web.

AdForce said it will enable MapQuest.com to advertise its online mapping and destination information services for consumers and businesses. During April 1999, MapQuest.com, which launched in February of 1996, delivered more than 100 million maps and more than 20 million driving directions through its own Web site and through customers’ sites.

AdForce provides provides a suite of products that allows advertisers and publishers to target, deliver, measure and analyze Internet advertising programs.
