Sony Online Entertainment Expands Ad Staff
New York City-based Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has added three newmembers to its ad sales team and established a sales office in San Francisco.

New York City-based Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has added three new members to its ad sales team and established a sales office in San Francisco.
Beth Ellis and Sean O’Neal join SOE as district sales managers, and Sarah Krasney has been promoted to account executive. “We’re experiencing tremendous sales growth all across the nation. . .,” said Chris Tice, SOE’s senior vice president of marketing and advertising sales. “The increased demand for our product and our projections for the growth of Sony’s online advertising business have required us to staff up aggressively. . .”
Ellis will establish SOE’s San Francisco office. Before joining Sony, Ellis sold online advertising for rep firm 2Can Media. Prior to that she was an online media buyer at Internet shop Anderson & Lembke.
Based in New York, O’Neal becomes SOE’s third salesperson covering the Northeast. Most recently he was manager, advertising sales for the N2K/Music Boulevard Network, and previously held a number of ad and marketing positions at Mason & Madison and The O’Neal Group.
Based in the New York office, Krasney will specialize in the technology and gamer hardware/software category. Prior to joining SOE as an Ad Sales Coordinator in November, she worked in both entertainment and advertising at Paramount Pictures, Brillstein-Grey Entertainment and McCann-Erikson Los Angeles.
