Execs & Accounts: JHG, Sendio, Nobox

Interactive agency JHG was selected as agency of record for Sendio. The e-mail security company Sendio is the second client win in November for JHG.

Nobox Marketing Group developed the Scion Art campaign for Scion of Puerto Rico. The campaign includes the Scion homepage as well as its online promotional banners, which include user-generated content.

SplashCast is working with Entercom. SplashCast, the content syndication service for emerging media, will make its technology accessible on 70 of Entercom’s music radio stations’ Web sites. The goal is to provide listeners with local content such as photos, interviews, and concert footage.

Web site optimization firm Amadesa named a new vice president of sales. Bob Werkema, vice president of sales, will lead the business and client development efforts at Amedesa. Werkema previously held sales executive and management roles within IBM’s WebSphere Commerce team, at Comergent Technologies, and at SAP.

Peer39 named Heather Joy Draney central region sales manager. The semantic advertising platform hired Draney to work in the newly-created position based in the Chicago office. Draney previously worked at Clear Channel Online where she handled the Midwest sales for the national network. Prior to Clear Channel she was an account manager for Reader’s Digest Association’s Selecciones Magazine. From 2001 to 2005 Draney was with OMD in Chicago, most recently as a strategy supervisor on several healthcare accounts.

Associated Content expanded its ad sales team with three new sales executives. Tim Kelly, director of ad sales, has experience at brands including AccuWeather, Google, Mochi Media, and Winstar Interactive Media. Based in Denver, he will manage relationships throughout the Western U.S. Eric Bouris, account executive, previously worked at MSN and brings several years of experience in selling cross-platform programs to CPG and pharmaceutical brands. Kerry Hay, account executive, was previously an account executive at GoFish and Bolt.com, where she created youth-targeted advertising programs for brands including Kellogg’s, Kraft, M&M Mars, and others.

WorldNow promoted several of its executives. The local media company named Melissa Hatter SVP, distribution and client services; she will lead new strategic initiatives. She was previously SVP of client services. Liza Watts was promoted to VP, client services, she will manage day-to-day operations for customer support. Watts was previously senior client services manager. Rebecca Swanson was promoted to senior client services manager from client services manager. Daniel Johnson was named director of interactive media services, his title was previously senior interactive development manager.
