Affiliate marketing company LinkShare Corp. said it has added new merchants to its program and now has more than 400 retailing partners.
LinkShare said it recently launched 33 affiliate programs for new merchants that represent a mix of traditional companies such as Brooks Brothers, direct marketers such as L.L. Bean and Lands’ End, and online pure-plays such as food.com and coolsavings.com.
Other new merchant affiliates include 4anything.com, BizBuyer.com, ClientNet (NetAid), EarthWeb’s Knowledge.com, Flower.com, Illuminations.com, JewelrySpotlight.com, Playboy Online, Sweet Lobster, TheGift.com, Visualize and Art.com, among others.
LinkShare helps companies drive additional business and revenue by allowing them to create, track and optimize customer relationships. LinkShare manages a network of tens of thousands of affiliate sites.
Separately, LinkShare launched a new program that will enable large Web sites that typically provide content, search capability, and services to increase their site traffic through affiliate marketing.
The program, called TrafficShare, gives resource sites the ability to establish strategic marketing partnerships with any number of the tens of thousands of unique, qualified affiliate sites in The LinkShare Network.
TrafficShare will allow resource sites to place banners, search boxes and other links on affiliate sites, measure the number of click-throughs and impressions generated by those links, and compensate affiliates based on the results.
Already signed on for the program are Infoseek’s Go Network, MapQuest, Deja.com and Shoppinglist.com.
