Vindigo hires Saturn; Knight Ridder promotes Lloyd to head all classifieds; imc2 hires Targetbase vet.
Mobile mapping and content player Vindigo hired Samantha Saturn as VP of marketing. For the last five years, Saturn has run her own strategic consulting practice, Saturn Network. Clients included Clear Channel New York, KOA Kampgrounds, Disney Joint Ventures and The Webby Awards. Earlier, she was senior director of marketing at CDNOW and marketing director at SonicNet, a division of MTV.
Knight Ridder promoted Lem Lloyd to lead its online and offline classifieds division. Lloyd has been with Knight Ridder for 14 years. Recent responsibilities included online business, real estate, automotive and obituaries. He succeeds Tom Mohr, who was promoted to KRD president earlier this year.
Interactive marketing firm imc2 hired Beth Kuykendall as VP of database marketing. Kuykendall was executive VP of client results at Targetbase, where she spent 19 years in various marketing roles.
Lisa Roth, another Targetbase veteran, has joined integrated marketing firm THINK as senior project manager. Roth spent six years doing online advertising, site development, CRM and database marketing for Targetbase.
Web metrics player Omniture signed Sears, Roebuck and Co. Sears will deploy Omniture’s SiteCatalyst online analytics solution to measure overall sales and marketing performance for sears.com.
