Internet ad sales company Real Media signed a deal to become the exclusive sales representative for four Web sites owned by London’s Times Newspapers Ltd.
The sites are www.the-times.co.uk, www.sunday-times.co.uk, www.times-money.co.uk and www.times-sport.co.uk. Combined they claim more than 1.5 million registered readers and over 10 million regularly audited page impressions each month.
“We were not only impressed with the ability of Real Media to offer advertisers more targeted and enriched forms of advertising, away from the traditional banner and button, but also with the infrastructure it has to provide the best customer service to advertisers and agencies,” said Paul Simon, commercial director of Times Internet.
Real Media will enhance the sales offerings across the sites with advertising solutions coupled with channel sponsorship. All the sites will run Real Media’s Open AdStream ad server software.
Real Media’s network includes about 600 mostly newspaper sites and claims more than 680 million page impressions per month.
