Online community operation theglobe.com and Internet telephony company Delta Three are teaming up to offer a holiday season promotion featuring 5 cent per minute PC-to-phone service.
The 5 cents a minute calling plan, an exclusive offer for users of theglobe.com by RSL Communications’ subsidiary Delta Three, will kick off a month-long holiday promotion, beginning on Thanksgiving and lasting through Christmas Eve.
“This partnership demonstrates how both companies are responding to society’s call for interactive services at affordable prices,” said Todd Krizelman and Stephan Paternot, co-CEOs of theglobe.com. “The promotion complements the online community elements of theglobe.com with the needs of people to call their loved ones, any time during the holiday season.”
The promotion will allow members of theglobe.com to sign up for the PC-to- phone service without switching from their current residential plan or incurring a monthly surcharge. Consumers will be able to access Delta Three’s savings by visiting www.theglobe.com and entering the telecommunications area of the marketplace, as well as clicking on promotions throughout theglobe.com’s Web site.
Delta Three manages an Internet telephony network with more than 30 international points of presence. theglobe.com claims 1.9 million members in the United States and abroad.
