Quote.com in Mountain View, CA, a provider of financial information and services, signed with DoubleClick Inc. to implement that company’s DART application as Quote.com’s primary ad serving technology.
DART (Dynamic Advertising Reporting and Targeting) matches advertiser-selected target profiles with individual user profiles to deliver appropriate, targeted ads. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.
The partnership has the added benefit of making DoubleClick’s international sales teams’ relationships with major advertisers around the world available to Quote.com. Quote.com recently announced its introduction into the Japanese market with the launch of the Quote.com Japanese Fast Site, and a new partnership agreement with FISCO Corp. in Japan.
“DoubleClick has exceptional functionality which can be converted into sales opportunities for Quote.com,” said Aaron Barnes, vice president of advertising sales at Quote.com. “With the number of advertisers on Quote.com’s site, and with our recent entry into the international market place, we need to partner with a company that not only can handle our technology needs, but one that also has international capabilities.”
Quote.com said it has signed more than 30 new advertising contracts in the last two months alone, and has run advertising campaigns for corporations such as American Airlines, Cyberian Outpost and IBM.
