Forbes.com promoted Michael Smith from chief technology officer to VP and general manager of operations. He will continue to oversee all production, audience development and ad serving for the site, and will report to President and CEO Jim Spanfeller.
Business.com recently made two additions to its East Coast sales team. Will Suarez and Joseph Sabol will serve as directors of sales for that region.
Suarez was East Coast sales manager at mobile publishing player AvantGo, before which he served as Northeast sales manager with Engage. Sabol’s most recent post was that of national online sales director at InfoWorld.
Match.com tapped Mullen to develop and launch a public relations campaign that will last the remainder of the year. The assignment follows a competitive review of several agencies. Match.com has not had an outside PR agency in the United States since 2001.
