Execs & Accounts for September 7, 2007

Glam names DoubleClick exec to lead international efforts; Monster creative account to BBDO, including Atmosphere; Yahoo vets fly to comScore, Podbridge, Position Technologies.

Glam Media hired Ralf Hirt as VP International. He was previously DoubleClick’s VP of operations and strategic partnerships.

Monster has consolidated its global creative account with BBDO Worldwide. The assignment will include BBDO’s interactive arm, Atmosphere.

ComScore named Lynn Bolger EVP of advertising solutions. Bolger returns to the online measurement company after serving as VP of advertising and sales research at Yahoo.

Podbridge hired Brian Steel as CEO and Jeff Karnes as VP of marketing and products. Both are former Yahoo execs. Steel comes to the downloadable media advertising and measurement systems provider from a position as president of Yahoo’s international search marketing operation. Karnes was Yahoo’s director for multimedia search and products.

Position Technologies hired Amy Figliuolo to manage its business development initiatives. Before joining the Internet search marketing company, Figliuolo was an account director with Yahoo Search Marketing in London.

R/GA hired Barbara Hamilton as executive creative director. Hamilton joined the digital agency from a position as vice president, associate creative director at Digitas.

Tacoda hired two regional managers. The AOL-owned behavioral targeting firm and ad network named Glen Caruso as director Southeast advertising sales and Cary Goss as director Midwest advertising sales.

IQ Interactive hired five execs. The interactive agency named John Ferguson senior designer; Chris McIlvoy senior developer; Brian Gorby interactive developer; Mason Brown junior developer; and Kay McClusky design producer.

Active Marketing Group hired Sean Conley as director of business development, named accounts. Previously Conley was VP of sales and business development for Planetwide Games.

Lonely Planet tapped Limelight Networks to power its Lonelyplanet.tv broadband site. The travel information company will use Limelight’s content delivery network for the travel video channel.

Powered named David Settle as chief financial officer. The provider of online consumer education programs hired Settle from a position as co-founder and CFO of Mirage Networks.

Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners hired Jordan Kretchmer as associate creative director. Previously, Mullen was integrated creative director for Mullen Advertising.

EPrize hired two execs. The interactive promotions company named Gabe Karp senior vice president, and Robyn Marcotte senior vice president of Talent.

CraveOnline hired three execs. The online destination for young men hired Noreen Van Der Waag as sales AE for the Western Region, Lauren Jaramillo as sales AE for the Northwest Territory, and Cory Rotkel as an Eastern region sales AE.
