Publicis creates positions for Nadel and Smith; Epsilon and Bazaarvoice both get Helzberg Diamonds; HipCricket hires Siegel.
Publicis USA created two Modem & Dialog positions for Nadel and Smith. The holding company named Dani Nadel to president, Publicis Modem & Dialog East and Michael Smith to president, Publicis Modem & Dialog West. Nadel was previously managing director of Publicis Modem East, while Smith returns to Publicis after leaving in 2006.
Helzberg Diamonds picked Epsilon and Bazaarvoice for online marketing. The jewelry retailer selected Epsilon to run its database marketing services and Bazaarvoice for its Ratings & Reviews customer review system.
HipCricket hired Steven Siegel as vice president of brand solutions.The mobile marketing company hired Siegel away from a vice president of mobile marketing & solutions position at Enpocket, now Nokia Ad Solutions.
Sapient named Tomas Siedleczka creative director. Prior to joining Sapient’s marketing team, Siedleczka was a creative director for Oglivy NYC.
Verizon Wireless links to go2 Media.The wireless company will use go2 Media’s search and directory services on its Verizon Mobile Web 2.0SM menu for local search.
Cellular South selected Cellfire for mobile coupons. The privately held wireless provider will use Cellfire for national and local coupons and discount offers.
Adlucent hired Robert Gilbreath as director of operations. Gilbreath joined the online marketing agency from Academic Superstore where he was director of online marketing.
MediaSpan relocated its Online Services Unit The company moved the unit’soperations to Irvine, CA, from San Clemente.
