Spot Runner names a new president; Linkstorm recruits industry vets; SEMPO reelects its president.

Spot Runner promoted John Gentry to president. Gentry previously served as chief revenue officer. He will assume management of the company and lead the marketing services group, which includes both the national and local divisions. Gentry joined Spot Runner in 2005.

Linkstorm hired seasoned execs in its advertising and technology divisions. Lois Condon and Gabe Nydick join as VP of advertising operations and chief of infrastructure, respectively. Condon was most recently at McCann Erickson Worldgroup. Nydick hails from 24/7 Real Media, and will run technology operations at Linkstorm.

SEMPO elected iCrossing’s president Jeffrey Pruitt as its president. This is the second year Pruitt will hold the position for the non-profit organization.

Netseer recruited former Yahoo executive Greg Coleman as president and CEO. Coleman spent seven years at Yahoo before joining the start-up focused on next-generation search and ad targeting.

EyeWonder unveiled LiveWonder, a feature able to deliver streaming video through any of its online ad formats. Stinson Partners is the first agency to sign on to use the product.

ROO Group consolidated its digital media services subsidiaries and named Gavin Campion president. He was formerly managing director of the group’s Sputnik Agency subsidiary. ROO will relocate its headquarters to Dubai from previous locations in New York and Australia.

Shoes.com added Bazaarvoice Ask & Answer to its online shopping experience.

Digital Pulp recently completed several display ad executions for Continental Airlines. Banners play up the airline’s newest fleet, business class offering, food service and direct flights.

Children’s entertainment site Cookie Jar Entertainment will use GoFish as its exclusive in-game advertising partner.. Advertising will appear in Cookie Jar’s upcoming online role-playing game “Magi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands.”

FunnyorDie beefed up its sales staff with the hires of Ed Wise, Alex Grant, and Erika Novak. Wise was formerly VP of Eastern sales at CBS Interactive. Grant was sales manager for the Midwest and account executive of strategic accounts at Microsoft Digital Ad solutions group. Novak was VP of Western sales and then West Coast digital sales at Comedy Central.
