YouTube swipes Di Cesare from Microsoft; Qualman joins EF Education; Stallion taps IMC for Power Pockets apparel campaign.
YouTube named Chris Di Cesare head of marketing & programming. The online video portal created the position for Di Cesare, who was previously director of creative marketing at Microsoft.
EF Education appointed Erik Qualman global VP of online marketing. The private education firm hired Qualman away from Travelzoo, where he was the head of marketing for North American operations. Qualman is also a columnist for Search Engine Watch.
Stallion Gear tapped Internet Marketing Consortium (IMC) to support its Power Pockets apparel campaign. The clothing manufacturer tasked IMC with promoting its product line designed for carrying cell phones.
Chick-fil-A selected Vitrue and The Foundry Agency for the creation of a video ad campaign. As part of its 40th anniversary, the restaurant chain had Vitrue launch the “Biggest Chick-fil-A Fan” video contest and social media Web site, with design assistance from The Foundry Agency.
