LEXIS-NEXIS Selects K2 Design as Interactive AOR

K2 Design Inc. in New York City has been named Interactive Agency of Record by LEXIS-NEXIS, the provider of information tools for legal, news, government and business professionals.
As its initial assignments, scheduled for launch in June 1998, LEXIS-NEXIS has chosen K2 Design to develop new online brand identity, communications, and technical strategies for its Corporate Communication and Business Information Unit Web sites. Billings were not disclosed.
For LEXIS-NEXIS’ Business Information Unit Web site, K2 has developed a streaming commercial using Flash technology. The commercial will use audio enhanced animation to present LEXIS-NEXIS’ services and products.
LEXIS-NEXIS’ goal, with the help of K2’s team, is to create a cohesive brand identity for both LEXIS-NEXIS’ Corporate Communications and Business Information Unit’s online venues. K2 has also been assisting LEXIS-NEXIS with its newest venture, The New York Times on the Web.
“LEXIS-NEXIS is excited to be able to capitalize on K2’s expertise while assisting us in creating a market-leading Web presence,” said Steve Edwards, manager of employee and interactive communications for Dayton, OH-based LEXIS-NEXIS.
