Centro hires Monkman; Jumpstart hires Ford national media manager; Freestyle Interactive taps m-Qube for mobile programs.

Local media buying service Centro hired Shauna Monkman to head its New York office as VP of business development. Monkman was VP of worldwide ad sales for FT.com until September 2005. Earlier she oversaw emerging online markets for the financial publisher.

Jumpstart Automotive Media hired Joe Kyriakoza as VP of product development. Kyriakoza was partner and digital media manager of Ford’s national media operations. Earlier he held management posts at Beyond Interactive.

Freestyle Interactive tapped m-Qube as its partner on mobile marketing programs. The agency’s clients include Motorola, Earthlink, Electronic Arts and Dolby.
