Bizo brings in Bill Furlong as an advisor; Dress Barn taps GSI Commerce for its first online shop.
Bizo to leverage expertise from former Crain’s exec. Bill Furlong, president and founder of searchChannel and B2BWorks, and former managing director of Crain’s BtoB Magazine joined Bizo as an advisor. He will build out the business development team and partnership strategies for the business-to-business advertising and targeting network.
Dress Barn will use GSI Commerce as its e-commerce partner. The retailer signed a multiyear agreement with GSI Commerce to implement the launch of the first Dress Barn online store for the maurices brand.
Sapient flies with Hawaiian Airlines direct marketing account. Hawaiian Airlines selected Sapient to implement its e-mail marketing program to drive incremental demand and revenue while optimizing the entire consideration and purchase cycle of Hawaiian’s media, communications, and customer relationship management initiatives. The airline also signed on to use BridgeTrack, Sapient’s marketing analytics toolset.
Genius.com selects Message Systems. The on-demand provider of B2B solutions for sales and marketing professionals selected Message Systems’ platform to bolster its position in demand-generation solutions.
Verve Wireless partners with AccuWeather.com. Verve customers will gain access to localized and accurate weather information from AccuWeather.com. The initial rollout calls for distributing weather content from AccuWeather.com to 134 newspaper and television broadcast mobile Web sites.
