Playboy taps Gorilla Nation for ad representation; Verdino goes to Crayon; 360i promotes Berkowitz, Hofstetter.

360i promoted two execs. The search-centric digital agency named Sarah Hofstetter VP of emerging media and client strategy, and David Berkowitz director of emerging media and client strategy.

Playboy selected Gorilla Nation to represent its online ad inventory. The online ad rep firm will assist Playboy Online with ad sales on its sites, including Playboy.com, TheArticles.com and PlayboyU.com.

VisionPoint Marketing hired Ashley Holloway as project manager. The Internet marketing firm tasked Holloway with overseeing all projects, serving as a liaison for clients and managing workflow for the company’s interns.

Entercom Communications tapped EveryZing to power new features on its radio station Web sites. The broadcaster will use EveryZing’s speech-to-text, search and optimization technologies to provide their audience with online access to programming.

Crayon hired Greg Verdino and Steve Coulson. The interactive marketing company hired Verdino, formerly of Digitas, as chief strategy officer and Coulson as chief creative officer. Both are newly created positions.

MarketLive selected Bazaarvoice to enhance its e-commerce platform with elements of CGM and social media. The partnership will merge Bazaarvoice’s ratings and reviews solution with the MarketLive platform for online sellers.

Specific Media appointed Parker Kennedy to its board of directors. Kennedy is the chairman and chief executive officer of The First American Corporation.

Nedstat selected Isilon Systems for its Web analytics service. The clustered storage company installed Isilon IQ to improve the European Web analytics company performance.

The George Lucas Educational Foundation added an exec, and promoted one. The nonprofit organization that chronicles and advocates innovative practices in education named Chip Fesko senior director of advertising sales and strategic alliances, and promoted Cal Joy to senior director of digital content and technology for Edutopia.org, the Web resource published by the Foundation.

Tremor Media picked Mirror Image Internet to support ad delivery. The online video advertising network will use Mirror Image’s Content Access Point Network to addresses its high-volume content delivery needs.
