Fathom Online names CEO/chairman; Travidia hires Villescas; Atomic Fusion adds clients.

Fathom Online named Dean DeBiase to be its CEO and chairman. He replaces Chris Churchill, who will stay on as vice chairman of the search marketing firm. DeBiase is also the chairman of Startup Partners. Earlier, he was chairman and CEO of Autoweb.

Separately, Fathom Online selected Mediaplex’s MOJO Adserver to measure its clients’ paid and natural search campaigns.

Travidia hired Ed Villescas as VP of business development. He joins from Norfolk, Virginia-based newspaper The Virginian Pilot, where he directed the major accounts and national advertising departments.

Atomic Fusion recently developed campaigns for several new clients. The work includes a Flash demo for HSBC and online marketing initiatives for service parts manager Servigistics.
