Further Departures at Agency.com

Ad agency's CFO and Dallas managing partner to leave by the end of March.

Interactive advertising firm Agency.com is losing two more senior level executives, ClickZ has found.

The company has confirmed that CFO Mike Jackson, and David Boyd, managing partner of the Dallas office, have both resigned; the two are expected to vacate their posts by the end of March. Agency.com spokesperson Marianne Stefanowicz told ClickZ that Jackson will stay on to transition his responsibilities to Alan Federman, who joined last month as corporate controller, while a search has begun for Boyd’s replacement. Federman was previously with Viacom.

Stefanowicz said of the losses that it’s “coincidental that they’ve left at the same time… For Agency.com it’s business as normal, and [we] will be appointing an interim managing director to see them through until they have a permanent person in place.”

Despite plans to replace Jackson and Boyd, it’s been a difficult road for Agency.com since its reorganization within parent company Omnicom’s TBWA network. The agency lost its former CEO, as well as the managing partners of its New York and San Francisco offices last year. Recent months have also seen the departure of an executive media director to rival AKQA, and several business accounts, including its Miller Brewing account to Publicis-owned Digitas.

An earlier version of this story said the company had lost the Ask.com account. Agency.com says it has been retained by Ask.com for online media and analytics for the next year.
