Eyeblaster hires Schoenburg to head bizdev for AdVision; TiVo signs five advertisers for new direct response product.
Eyeblaster hired Jim Schoenburg as director of business development for its new ad management platform, AdVision. Schoenburg is a veteran of stints with Claria, Bottle Rocket and AT&T. At Claria, he managed relationships with agencies and clients such as Avenue A, Foote Cone Belding, Avon, Starwood, and South Beach Diet.
TiVo signed five advertisers to test its new direct response ad technology. Ameriquest, E*Trade, Nautilus, Novartis, and Tylenol will experiment with customized call-to-action tags accessible to approximately one million TiVo Series2 subscribers.
LookSmart CFO Bill Lonergan will resign as of November 1, or as soon as a replacement is named. The company made the announcement in the wake of a Q2 net loss of $4.4 million.
Online market researcher InsightExpress hired Michele McDonald as senior account executive in its emerging markets unit. She joins from Taylor Nelson Sofres, where she was an account executive on several CPG, healthcare and financial services accounts.
Heavybag Media hired Kelli Buckley as senior account executive and promoted Emily Henderson to art director. Buckley joins from Pharmedica Communications.
