24/7 Real Media hired Garret Vreeland as senior VP of sales for its media solutions division. Vreeland joins from search marketing firm LookSmart, where he was VP of national sales for two years. (LookSmart has cut back half its staff in a restructuring effort.) For four years before that, Vreeland was VP of ad sales for Lycos.
24/7 Real Media also promoted Ari Bluman to senior VP of distribution and operations, media solutions, and Robert Hess to VP of West Coast technology sales. Bluman has been VP of direct solutions since November 2002, prior to which he was VP of direct marketing, inside sales and email brokerage. Hess’ background includes roles with Andale.com, Honesty.com, the Chicago Sun-Times and Howard Publications.
“These moves will support the growth of our business and strengthen our proven ability to give our customers the best service and most innovative solutions in the business,” said David Hills, 24/7 Real Media’s president of media solutions.
Left Right Marketing Technology will acquire e-commerce site CrazyGrazer.com. The move will integrate a total of four companies under the parent corporation. They are StyleWise Interactive, a software development and multimedia design firm; Hall Communications, a Nevada-based advertising and public relations firm; and DSLV Lawlor Advertising, a Pasadena-based retail marketing agency.
Collectively, StyleWise Interactive, Hall Communications and DSLV Lawlor have marketed companies including AOL, AT&T, Circuit City, Coca-Cola, DirecTV, GE, GoVideo, La-Z-Boy, RCA and Starbucks.
