Execs & Accounts for December 22, 2004

Slate publisher stays with MSN after sale; Bigfoot Interactive hires a director of marketing; Tickle VP of marketing goes to NexTag.

Slate’s former publisher, Cyrus Krohn, will not accompany the site to its new home with The Washington Post Company. Krohn has elected to stay on and work with MSN’s video team.

Bigfoot Interactive hired Mary Beth Keelty as director of marketing, a new post, and Joe Lampertius as Midwest regional manager. Keelty was most recently marketing director at Fujitsu Consulting. Lampertius was director of business development for the Hispanic marketing division of Valassis.

The former VP of sales and marketing for Tickle, asocial networking site and quiz aggregator, has left to join NexTag. Steven Comfort will be VP of large accounts for the comparison shopping site. Earlier this year, Tickle was acquired by Monster.com.
