The Daily Deal does some dealmaking of its own, with ScreamingMedia.
The Daily Deal, an online and print publication covering the world of business deals, this week struck an agreement whereby content aggregator and distributor ScreamingMedia will syndicate its content to the company’s clients.
Under the terms of the deal, the Daily Deal’s content will be aggregated, filtered, and distributed via ScreamingMedia’s network of Web sites. The syndication company’s clients can select what content they want to publish on their sites.
“We believe The Daily Deal‘s unique content covering the entire spectrum of deal activity — from angel investment through corporate restructuring — will quickly find a following among ScreamingMedia’s growing list of subscribers,” said Daily Deal editor in chief Bob Teitelman.
ScreamingMedia collects content from more than 240 providers, and 468 publications, and distributes them to over 800 Web site and wireless customers. The founder of Chiat/Day Advertising, Jay Chiat, is ScreamingMedia’s chairman.
