IBM Joins the Second Life Fray
The Wall Street Journal reports IBM is the latest in a long string of brands to join the fray in Second Life. Big Blue joins a panoply of brands strutting their stuff in the game, including Toyota, Adidas, American Apparel, Sun Microsystems, Intel, and Wired magazine, along with a virtual agency or two . The company has invested its Linden dollars in creating 12 virtual islands, some public, others reserved for IBM staffers
