BP Employs Cursed Ad Approach

Remember the Comet Cursor ? Well, I was just on Weather.com checking out the forecast for tomorrow's subway series game (rain, darn it)

Remember the Comet Cursor? Well, I was just on Weather.com checking out the forecast for tomorrow’s subway series game (rain, darn it). Alongside one of those new BP ads featuring the cutesy animated tots filling their tanks with fuel that’s “a little better,” up pops one of those tots, gliding to and fro across the screen along with my cursor. I couldn’t disable it, either.

I’ll say this: The floating ad unit suits the cartoonish and whimsical BP effort. But that doesn’t mean I have to like it.
