Curious about whether your other half was registered on cheating website Ashley Madison? Don’t click the link claiming to be hacked profiles — it’s probably spam, according to the BBC.
Their investigation found that spammers are capitalising heavily on the hack, in which a group stole the personal information of all 37m registered Ashely Madison users, and posting links claiming to share the stolen data.
According to the BBC these links are all fake, and take users to pages booby-trapped with malware, scams and, in some cases, graphic images and videos of adulterers ‘burning in hell’.
While a small number of profiles were posted in the initial hack, they were taken down swiftly and no more data has emerged. Every link the BBC clicked was a fake of some kind, it said.
According to Jeroen Vader, who runs a website on which these fake links are appearing, said: “Spammers will always try to abuse any trend to get some free exposure, so this Ashley Madison leak is no exception. It is hard for us to remove everything, but we do actively search for such posts.”

My Grandfather always said- there’s no such thing as One lie- because you’ll end up making more lies just trying to cover it up and if it continues, your whole life, your relationships with loved ones turns into nothing but a huge lie. So get it over with: Tell the truth. Yeah, it’s gonna hurt. Who doesn’t like being lied to? Look at it this way, at least you’ll have your life back.
