Fashion fans around the world will be able to take a photograph live from the Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2015 Womenswear show later today as Burberry expands its Twitter partnership.
Twitter users can trigger a camera by tweeting #Tweetcam complete with the @Burberry Twitter handle. Burberry will then tweet each picture back to the user, integrating their Twitter handle and the time of the snap.
The social media stunt compliments the British brands partnership with Line to live stream the show to its 180m – mainly Japanese – monthly users.
The move follows the brands previous years of Twitter-innovation. Last year Burberry was the first luxury brand to sell products through Twitter’s Buy Now function.
Models are due to strut down the catwalk from 1pm (23 February).
