Cannes Video: A Chat With Facebook's Carolyn Everson

Here's what Facebook's top marketer plans to say during her big appearance at Cannes Lions.

Cannes, France–

Today’s a big day for Carolyn Everson, Facebook’s top marketer. At 5:30 pm (CET), she’ll take the stage at the Palais des Festivals to discuss the evolution of the site and its ad offerings to thousands of clients and agency people.

It’s easily her biggest speaking gig since taking the job in February. But if she’s feeling the pressure, it didn’t show this morning as she took a few minutes to chat with ClickZ on camera.

In the interview, she outlines the main points she plans to make, including the thinking behind Facebook’s “Stories engine,” as the company is calling it. She also talks about the importance of Cannes to Facebook and to the industry at large.
