EE have integrated smart LED lighting to illuminate Wembley's famous arch, which will eventually be able to respond to the roar of the excited crowds beneath and social media hashtags.
EE have integrated smart LED lighting to illuminate Wembley’s famous arch, which will eventually be able to respond to the roar of the excited crowds beneath.
The responsive lighting is expected to go into operation by early 2015. Crowds will also be able to control the structure’s colour scheme through social media hashtags.
The metal structure could also play host to the colour of teams kit’s playing in its shadow, a spokesman reveled.
The system consists of 228 large-scale LED floodlights that can display “millions” of colour combinations, according to EE.
