Leading US entertainment channel, E!, will reportedly develop a new series awfully similar to the popular Rich Kids of Instagram Tumblr blog, highlighting how pervasive social media sites like Instagram and Tumblr have become in everyday life.
Already hosting a number of successful reality TV shows such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills series will focus on a group of wealthy 20-something friends, and is to be produced by ITV Studios America in association with Leepson Bounds Entertainment.
The Rich Kids of Instagram blog already has over 12,000 Facebook likes and more than 16,000 Twitter followers, and is regularly updated to show wealthy young people reveal their wealth, holidays and more, to the delight of its followers.
