EVB goes full-service with new ECD; Millennial Media partners with ID Media; Verizon extends its relationship with Yahoo.
Digital shop EVB has gone full-service with the hire of Stephen Goldblatt. Goldblatt, former group creative director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, will be EVB’s new executive creative director and agency partner. The newly-created position evolves the agency from a digital-only boutique to a full-service agency. Goldblatt has over 14 years of experience with agencies including BBDO and DDB.
ID Media selected Millennial Media as a mobile advertising partner. ID Media, a media buying partnership with 70 clients, will have access to Millennial’s inventory on its ad networks.
Verizon extended its relationship with Yahoo with a multiyear, co-branded portal agreement. Yahoo will be the preferred starting point for new Verizon broadband subscribers. It is part of the customizable Verizon-Yahoo portal offered to new subscribers to Verizon’s FiOS Internet and high-speed Internet services.
OpenAd.Net created an advertising initiative for Dress for Success. The work for the international nonprofit organization will help raise awareness of the group’s work on behalf of disadvantaged women among potential donors and encourage them to support the cause.
HipCricket hired David Jones as GM of its Hispanic mobile marketing network. Jones has experience in the Hispanic marketplace. He was the co-founder and CEO of CDK Media, where he oversaw the creation and execution of marketing, advertising, PR, and sponsorship programs for national clients.
