Metal Toad Media is tapped for Emmys.com relaunch; Big Interactive hires Ashe; Ogilvy PR hires Rachel Polish to lead digital WOM and social strategy.
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences hired Metal Toad Media and creative agency Playground Group to handle a redesign of its Web sites. The revamp will create three distinct destinations: Emmys.com for TV fans, Emmys.tv for Academy members and press, and EmmysFoundation.org, a public- and academic-focused site.
Big Interactive hired Jamie Ashe as VP of business development. She’ll be responsible for growing the online media division. During a 20-year career, Ashe has supported campaigns for clients such as 20th Century Fox, Disney, and Paramount Pictures.
Ogilvy PR named Rachel Polish as VP of digital strategy in its 360 Degree Digital Influence Group on the West Coast. In her new role, she’ll spearhead digital word of mouth and social media strategy. Polish most recently worked at SanDisk as the lead on global mobile consumer PR and social media.
